This fun-yet-hectic farming game can be purchased for the PS4 on Amazon for around $. The price is slightly lower if you buy the original PC version. 

Early game use of the vacuum gun is tough when pointing at the precise target. Sometimes you want to grab the pink slime and will pick up the tabby right next to it instead. However, as slimes jump around everywhere, Monomi Park has taken great steps in making player movement something that works with no issues. 

In a vibrant alien world filled with blobs of different shapes and sizes, players start their small slime farm using one vacuum weapon and a lot of patience wrangling them. As Beatrix the rancher, you run through different areas and dangers and pick up slimes along the way. Setting up your farm is equal parts frenetic and relaxing, but there are certain moments where things can get repetitive—from the constant return trips for more slimes to the grind of shoveling endless plorts from your cages.

Slime Rancher's adorable art style is stripped down enough to reduce its file size down to around one GB of data. With the amount of content that comes for so little.

The controls are tight and responsive, even on the Switch. 

Even though this game is made with a sense of lightheartedness, it is a properly designed platformer filled with crazy animations and kooky characters. Players can enjoy interacting with NPCs while moving around and shooting at evil trees. The co-op mode is seamless and brings a great amount of fun. The monsters are bizarre, and the dialogue veers towards the nonsensical, but that does not stop one from enjoying taking them out in such a fantastical world.

But over time, its charm wears off as certain levels seem to drag on too long. There are also issues when the combat gets too easy, and in how the money system seems almost pointless.

Whether players choose the auto-aim or manual option for cover shooting, neither work effectively. However, using the Dead Eye option improves this. The game also has the option of switching between third-person and FPS, which changes button configurations. 

There is more to this outlaw's life than an immense world. Rockstar Games developed a nuanced character who moves his tale across multiple states on the run. The visuals are mind-blowing, and there are so many things to do—animal and bounty hunting, gambling, resource gathering, and even basic cooking. What shines in this sequel is a robust online multiplayer system.

The depths of realism the developers put into the game can be overwhelming. Players may find the time it takes to brew their coffee or take painstakingly long baths frustrating, but it is a part of becoming the main character of Arthur, and not just some generic outlaw. 

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on the PS4 and Xbox One. We give it four stars for this category.

With the number of visual models and design in the game, it should not surprise players that the game has a massive file size. For the PS4, it is around 100 to 150 GB depending if it is the physical or digital copy. For the Xbox One, the file size is around 88 GB for the digital and physical version.

Insomniac Games has taken great steps in making Spider-Man's movements fast and agile in every manner. Swinging from building to building, even using parkour tricks, works easily with the PS4 controller. Likewise, players have no issues moving Spidey around in seamless combat.

This is the best take on Marvel's flagship character in a video game since 2002. The vivid detail of Peter Parker's Manhattan is amazing from its highest skyscraper down to the grime in the tunnels. The open-world environment is enormous and makes Spidey's swinging around feel better than ever before. They have refined the swinging mechanics by allowing almost any spot as a jumping point. Combat is fluid, and they have cleverly added abilities to the many costume choices available.

This is slightly lost in huge boss battles that do not need flexible attack opportunities. There are also times the boss battles boil down to rote memorization instead of strategy, which takes the life out.

This is a PS4-exclusive title, so big fans of the character or PlayStation owners must really want to play to pick it up. 

The game takes up around 45 GB of hard drive space—something to consider if buying the game digitally. You can always pick up a physical copy.  Please note that there is additional DLC that might take up hard drive space.

The controls work well for most consoles, but it feels slightly weird on the Switch.

This game is like Slime Rancher as it deals with a large world and construction (obviously), but it is divided into two parts. The first is an exploration into unknown worlds that are randomly generated and include treasure hunts and monster slaying. The second is the true 3D editing that lets players build almost anything they see in the world—virtually copying and pasting whatever structure they come across.

While leveling up and building structures sound great, there is a problem with both in certain quest areas that should be hard to play but can easily be surpassed by taking apart any dangerous part of the area.

LEGO Worlds is compatible on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. This wide option of availability gives it five stars.

There are certain quirks to handling objects that can get annoying, and delicate controls can lead to the loss of objects.

Harvest Moon fans see the similarities in this homage to farming simulators, but it is still a very different affair. It is a larger game than just making a nice crop—you can make decisions for creating a massive agricultural wonder. Not only that, there are many side-quests like fishing, dating, and a dungeon-like cave that give you hours of play outside of the farm.

It was originally released for the PC, but it is now available on the PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. 

The 16-bit art style of Stardew Valley (which differs from Slime Rancher) makes it a smaller game. It is under 1 GB.
